Privacy note: because everything is stored locally on your device, we can't see your data and won't ask for it. Please don't paste your logged entries into a message. If a bug truly needs a sample, we'll tell you how to share a minimal, safe export.
No — and neither can anyone else. Your data is encrypted with keys derived from your PIN, entirely on your device, so a forgotten PIN is unrecoverable by design. This is why keeping an exported backup somewhere safe is a good idea.
Open the stats dashboard and use Export JSON to save a backup file you own. On another computer, install the extension and use Import to restore it. Nothing is stored in any cloud, so the export file is your only backup.
Some sites hide cast information from the page. Use the manual picker in the popup to type names — they'll autocomplete from everyone you've logged before. If a popular site consistently fails, tell us and we'll take a look.

Open the log's ℹ Details in Recent entries: every field is there in full, each with a pencil. Date and time, rating, site, title, link, actors, tags, place, duration and video position can all be corrected. Ctrl+Z undoes up to twenty steps, Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes them, and anything deleted waits 30 days in the trash.
Yes — the dashboard has Add a log manually. Set the date and time, the actors, and anything else you want to record; it becomes an ordinary log and counts everywhere.
Open Settings (the gear, top right). Panels shows every section with a switch — anything hidden can be brought back there. If you have dragged panels into your own order, that order is remembered per page; Reset layout restores the default.
Use Aliases to merge duplicate spellings into one name — counts, photos and badges follow the merge. Sites are normalised automatically, so Example.com and example.com are one site.
One installation holds up to four independent logs. Switch with the page buttons at the top left of the dashboard (and at the bottom right of the popup, which remembers where new logs go). Each page can be renamed, and the word “actor” can be replaced throughout the interface with a word that fits what you track.
Settings → Backup → Export writes one file containing every page. On the new machine, install the extension and import that file; you choose which page it lands on. Nothing is stored in any cloud, so that file is your only copy — keep it somewhere safe, especially if you use a PIN.
